Accessibility Statement

Accessibility of this website: the measures taken, known gaps and how to contact us.

Last updated
24 October 2026

editionvoze aims to make editionvoze.co.uk usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.

Our approach

At editionvoze, accessible pages are part of everyday maintenance rather than an extra. Each new page and each change of design is checked so that text stays readable, the menu can be used without a mouse and no information depends on a single visual cue. The statement applies to editionvoze.co.uk only.

Conformance

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.

Limitations we know of

A number of illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject instead of describing it in detail.

Measures taken

The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.

Colours are selected so that body text, links and buttons maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Font sizes are expressed in relative units, so that text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off. Links, menus and form fields can be operated using the keyboard alone.

Other ways to reach us

The website is not the only way to get information from editionvoze. You can call us on 01792 410386 during business hours, write to hello@editionvoze.co.uk or send a letter to 14 Wind Street Studios, Swansea SA1 1DZ; if a page does not work for you, we can read its content to you by telephone or send it as plain text.

Feedback

Please report any accessibility problem by email to hello@editionvoze.co.uk or by telephone on 01792 410386. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.

Preparation and review

The present statement was prepared on 24 October 2026 on the basis of our own internal assessment. We inspected the principal page types with a keyboard, at an increased zoom setting and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any substantial change to the website.
